After completing this program, students will be able to:

 

  1. Analyze and appraise primary and secondary sources in their specific field of research on the basis of Scripture as the ultimate norm, in dialog with the tradition of the church and other relevant fields of inquiry.

  2. Take positions in their specific fields of research and support them with evidence and argumentation.

  3. Construct and evaluate arguments in a spirit of openness and mutual respect.

  4. Articulate how their learning contributes to the church’s ministry of the gospel.
