Fall Semester Begins

Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ from the Institute of Lutheran Theology.
The 11th fall semester at ILT began this week on Monday, August 24th. This fall is a significant semester for ILT because it marks the beginning of ILT’s first year offering undergraduate programs. Currently, there are 10 students in the undergraduate degree programs. This is an important step for ILT because it allows students to prepare for ministry in different ways. It also gives a pre-seminary or pre-graduate option to students who have these goals.
This is also the second year ILT is offering a Ph.D. program. The program serves to train theologians in biblical, historical, systematic, and philosophical theology. The Ph.D. program is vital for the future of Lutheran theology. ILT remains committed to sound theology grounded in Scripture and centered on the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
We are grateful for all the ministry, undergraduate, and graduate students studying at ILT this year. Census day is not until September 4th, but there will be about 100 students studying at ILT this semester. ILT is off to a great start this school year!
