Announcing Undergraduate Programs At ILT!

The Institute of Lutheran Theology (ILT) is happy to announce that it will be offering undergraduate programs in the fall of 2020! ILT faculty submitted Associate of Arts and Bachelor of Arts in Ministry degree programs for approval by its accreditation agency, the Association for Biblical Higher Education (ABHE). We were notified yesterday that ILT is approved to offer these programs. The Associate of Arts in Ministry (A.A.M.) program is a 63-credit undergraduate degree program designed to help prepare people for contract call, missionary, church planting, or other specialized ministry work. Students who complete the A.A.M. program can work in the specific ministry context of their choice. This program can also help students prepare for further work in pastoral ministry or theology. The Bachelor of Arts in Ministry (B.A.M.) program is a 126-credit undergraduate degree program designed to help prepare people for contract call, missionary, church planting, or other specialized ministry work. It also can be used for pre-seminary coursework. Students who complete the B.A.M. can go directly into the field, continue into graduate academic theological studies, or enter the seminary and complete pastoral or chaplaincy training. All programs at ILT are delivered to students online. Students meet with each other and their professors through real-time online video conferencing software. Undergraduate students can study from home or directly from their ministry context. If you have any questions about these programs. Please contact Joel Williams, Director of Enrollment Services. We pray that God would continue to use ILT to work in the lives of its students to prepare them for their callings in the world.
