ILT Approved to Offer VA Benefits to Graduate Students!
The Institute of Lutheran Theology (ILT) is excited to announce that our application to Veteran’s Affairs has been approved! Veterans can use their educational benefits to do graduate studies at ILT. This is good news for those who want to become pastors, chaplains, or just study at ILT to earn a masters or doctorate degree. Through this program, graduate students at ILT can have their tuition paid directly by Veteran’s Affairs. If you are a veteran and are looking for graduate level education, please contact us to learn more about this.
This is another of the changes that ILT has been able to make because of our being awarded accreditation in February 2018. Since being accredited, ILT has been able to join the American Council on Education (this allows us to offer the chaplaincy program), join the Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (this is the data system for higher education), offer the Ph.D. program, and now offer the Post 9/11 GI Bill program to graduate students.
God continues to bless ILT with students and donors who are committed to preparing for the future of the Lutheran Church in North America. We continue to pray in thanksgiving to our Father for the wonderful students and the overwhelming generosity of our donors. God bless and be with you all!
