The Fall semester of Academic Year 2018-2019 began on Monday August 23, 2018. This marks the beginning the tenth year ILT has offered graduate courses. ILT has grown since those early days when the first few brave students decided to study here. This semester there are 81 students taking or auditing classes in ten programs. Twenty-one students are in the Pastoral Ministry Certificate program, eighteen are in the Master of Divinity Program, and sixteen are in the Doctor of Ministry Program. The remainder of the students are participating in one of the other seven programs offered.
ILT has been blessed in our growth in the last ten years. Almost sixty students have graduated and are now serving in ministry to the church. And ILT continues to grow. One way this is possible is ILT’s commitment to making education affordable. Every effort is made to keep tuition as low cost as possible, so as not to be a burden to the students. ILT is also committed to never letting financial concerns be the only reason a potential student will not study here. Financial aid, work study, and other ways of supporting students make it possible for students with income concerns to be able to answer God’s call and study at ILT.
The only way this is possible is because of the donors who support ILT’s mission. ILT is 75% funded by the generous donations we receive from individuals and congregations. Currently, ILT is asking for donation to support the student financial aid fund. Student’s receive $30,000 a year in support from this fund. It gives relief to student with financial need and helps them to be able to continue to study. Please consider giving to this fund. $1,100 will help a master’s level student and $780 will help a certificate student take a course that gets them into a church to serve the people of God sooner.
Thank you for your prayer and your support!
