Ending in the Black
As June comes to a close, we are coming to the end of another fiscal year and to our current fund-raising campaign. We solicit support from individual donors three or four times a year. Each of these fund-raisers plays an important part in the life ILT. As is the case with many non-profits this time of the year, we need your help to “end in the black.”.. The goal for this campaign was to raise $100,000. As of today, we have raised half of that. There is still time. Please prayerfully consider giving something now to help us reach our goal. Why should I give, you say?
Your donation is more than a gift but an investment in the future of the church. ILT has nearly sixty graduates so far and all are serving congregations in North America. That is sixty congregations and no telling how many people who are receiving a faithful proclamation of the Word of God. This is no trifling matter. In a society such as ours where two-thirds do not believe in absolute truth it is essential to educate seminarians that the Bible is the inspired Word of God and the sole authoritative source and norm for proclamation, faith, and life. In a polarized world that is obsessed by talking points on trending topics, we simply must have pastors who point to timeless truths.
ILT achieved accreditation last February and has a record number of summer school students and expect the same for the fall. Your donation is more than a gift but an investment in the future of the church. ILT is following through on all our goals to raise up another generation of pastors, teachers, and church workers and members.
ILT is committed to openness, transparency and giving every assurance that we are being faithful with the gifts you give. If you have any questions bout how ILT uses the money it receives every year, please go to our consumer information page on our website (https://www.ilt.edu/consumer-information). Here you will find information showing ILT’s revenue and expense. ILT goes through an audit every year. This can also be sent to you. If you have any questions please feel free to contact us.
